So after sitting on board an a340 for five hours and waiting to leave air can had to cancel the flight because the yvr mutts didn't deice the plane properly!
Vancouver is in pretty bad shape. Some parts of the city are out of electricity, some have no cable or internet service, but worst of all roads are icing up. We'll see if I leave tomorrow.

So air can decided to leave today after all. It is funny how you run into different people at the airport while you wait for your flight. While Marko and I were having coffee, we ran into Naf who was doing a story for CKNW.
We were all amazed how the vast majority of air can flights were cancelled while west jet happily flew without any problems.

So I am back in Vancouver for a visit and winter has arrived. It is snowing and it really feels like Christmas should. I am even wondering if I will be able to fly out tomorrow considering how bad it is. One thing is for sure, public transit here sucks. I am riding the last skytrain and it isn't even one am yet!
So much left to improve here!

So... I finally got internet at home now so I can post up blogs on regular basis!!! This is a big change from a last months.

Today I went to Norval to church. Croatian community built the new church and it definitely isn't an architectural masterpiece... check it out.

First snow

Showed up in Barrie this morning to a thin sheet of fresh new snow. Looks like it will keep on falling this weekend. This definitely ain't no Vancouver!
